"invisible cities"

This project is inspired by the book "Invisible City", a fantasy novel by Italo Calvino about imaginary cities. For this piece, I chose one of my favorites cities from the story, Olinda — a place that grows like the rings of a tree trunk. I use the visual of concentric circles to create the book cover, while evoking the concept of growth to build the event calendar typeface.
